He has had meaningful collaborations with brands and record-labels; like with the youth-brand Yuvaa, for their short film ‘Gray’; Salim-Sulaiman’s label ‘Merchant records’ and many more. In the independent music scene, he has released three solo original albums – ‘Project SWA’, ‘Project SWA Acoustics’ and the recent most being ‘Lifafe’ where he has sung, composed and written the entire album. Anurag’s music and his journey has been applauded by international and national publications like Rolling Stone, Rock Street Journal, The Hindu, Hindustan Times, Indian Express and many more. His roots stem from Indian classical, sufi, ghazal and light music which have shaped his formative years of learning and listening. His diverse skill set is influenced by legends like AR Rahman, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Shankar Mahadevan, RD Burman, Gulzar, Rahat Indori, Nida Fazli and many more. Anurag is an instinctive and exploratory composer who believes his tunes expresses those emotions which are generally not spoken about. Anurag’s voice and words have a lot of relatability, empathy and that’s what makes them so like-able.

Anurag comes from a humble background, from the state of Odisha. Having a decorated academic career, having completed his studies from pedigreed institutions like NIT Rourkela and IIM Indore, he has worked with mega-conglomerates like TATA, Maersk Shipping. The discipline, rigour, professionalism of his background shows beautifully in his music career.
